About the Lynnwood Elementary PTO
We’re a 501(c)3 non-profit organization of parents, teachers and staff who work together to enhance the educational experience for our kids! We plan FUN community building events, raise funds to invest back in the school, and we look for ways to enrich the school environment.
For the 2022-2023 School Year we:
Raised $11K and encouraged our young readers with the PTO Read-a-Thon
Sold 1,200 books at the Scholastic Book Fair
Brought our community together & had FUN at school with events like the Fall Fest Dance, Movie Nights, Skate Nights, Field Day Ice Cream Truck, class parties and more!
Provided more than $7K directly to our classrooms for field trips, equipment, supplies, testing snacks, parties, subscriptions and more!
All this was done by a very small team of less than 5 dedicated parents and staff! Imagine what we could do with more hands! WE NEED YOU!!
Get Involved!
Any parent or caregiver of an LWE student can join, there are no dues, and 100% of funds raised go back to our school! There is no time commitment, and you can come as often or as little as your schedule allows. Here are a few ideas to get started:
Become an official member - fill out the form online
Join a meeting: Check the calendar for dates. Join us to hear an update from Principal Henly, learn what's going on with the PTO, and find out how you can help our school community!
Volunteer: Join our mailing list to find out when we need extra hands for events! We are a very small team, and even a half hour of your time goes a big way towards making these events happen for our community.

Raise Money for Free! Link your Fred Meyer Community Rewards: Sign into your account at fredmeyer.com/account/communityrewards. Search for “Lynnwood Elementary” or our organization number EB993 to enroll. This earns extra rewards for LWE PTO without affecting your existing rewards.
Join a fundraiser: look for info soon on our big Read-a-Thon fundraiser; we also have dine out fundraisers monthly, and you can even raise money by shopping at the Scholastic Book Fair. Check out our calendar for dates!
